Why trust me with your archive

Your archive took years to build. The product around it should make that work more valuable.

I have spent more than two decades building and leading software, analytics, and data products at Netflix, Yahoo, Brio/Oracle, SAS, Tableau, and elsewhere. For a creator, the payoff is simple: you can turn years of work into a more useful, more valuable archive without becoming a software company yourself.

My job is to make your existing work easier to find, easier to use, and easier to monetize while keeping your original videos, membership, books, products, and community at the center.

Software product record

I have spent much of my career inside products that had to survive real users, real scale, and real consequences.

The question is not whether software can search transcripts. It can. The question is whether the result strengthens the creator's business. Explorer is built around that outcome: more value from the archive, more reasons to stay inside the creator's ecosystem, and less work for the creator.

Yahoo Ads

Worked between engineering, analytics, and the commercial system.

As an Analytics Product Manager, I bridged search engineering and ad sales, helped shape build-versus-buy decisions, and worked around analytical systems supporting more than $2 billion in advertising spend.

Brio, later Oracle

Helped define the next generation of web BI and core server products.

I worked with Brio's founder and head of product on the vision and feature set for next-generation zero-client web business intelligence. I also managed feature sets for Brio Broadcast and Brio On-Demand Server, core products representing roughly 45% of company revenue.

Tableau

Provided product vision and software leadership for major analytical features.

As Director of Analytic Product Management, I developed a next-generation strategic roadmap with Tableau's co-founder and CDO, worked with research and UX from ideation through implementation, and led product strategy for native forecasting and R integration. Many of the roadmap projects I championed or contributed to were subsequently implemented in Tableau.

What you should get from this

You keep creating. I make the archive easier to use and more valuable.

Explorer should feel like leverage, not another project on your list. It is designed to keep adding value as the archive grows while sending fans back into the business you already built.

01

Your old work becomes useful again

A question can surface the exact video and moment where you answered it, so years of buried material become usable inventory instead of forgotten content.

02

Your audience stays with you

The answer should lead back to your original video at the exact moment, then into the membership, book, course, community, or other offer that goes deeper. Explorer is a navigation layer for your ecosystem, not a substitute for it.

03

Your existing business stays the center

If you already sell memberships, books, courses, sponsors, or community access, Explorer should make those offers more valuable rather than compete with them.

04

You do not inherit another job

I build and operate the system. Your role is to approve how it fits your brand and business, then keep doing the work your audience already comes to you for.

A second reason this fits my background

I have spent years turning complicated expertise into something people can actually use.

That is the same job Explorer performs for a creator archive. The value is not more information. The value is helping the right person reach the right answer at the moment they need it.

The operating principle

Your archive is the asset. Explorer should make it work harder without taking it away from you.

Your original work remains the destination.Search results lead people back to the video, discussion, and timestamp where you actually said it.
Your existing business remains the center.Explorer can sit beside your membership, books, products, sponsors, and community instead of replacing them.
The economics stay aligned. You keep 70% of Explorer revenue. Legendary Charts earns 30% to build, operate, support, and improve Explorer. Legendary Charts takes no share of your existing memberships, Patreon, courses, books, sponsors, communities, or other offers.
